Maybe his class told after all, from the opening Monday match onward. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Snooks - 18-02-2025 20:55 Four different winners of the Home Nations events. My favourite by far was the Scottish Open. I really hope Lei Peifan can build on that success and progress further. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Snooks - 17-08-2025 16:45 Got tickets for the quarter finals in Brentwood for the English Open .
RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Joannis - 11-09-2025 21:29 Day 1 of the English Open and Jimmy White beat Ka Wai Cheung 4-3. White lost the 5th frame on the black, but from 3-2 behind he took the last 2 frames. Ng On-Yee made history by making a 137 break, the highest ever break made by a woman in a WST tournament. The previous record was held by Allison Fisher who made a 133 in the 1992 Dubai Classic. Despite that On-Yee lost 4-2 to Liam Highfield. Reanne Evans lost 4-2 to Jiang Jun. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Joannis - 12-09-2025 20:56 Day 2 was a good day for the women. Mink Nutcharut came from 2-1 behind to beat Robbie McGuigan 4-2; her first win over a male player this season. Bai Yulu also got her first win over a male player this season. She beat Liu WenWei 4-3, making a decisive 56 break in the decider. Elsewhere, Chang Bingyu made 3 centuries in 4 frames to demolish Leone Crowley 4-0. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Snooks - 13-09-2025 06:33 Go Bai Yulu. She's awesome .
RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 13-09-2025 12:40 The more that women get chances, the more wins they will get. It's a long old road, but they'll never get there without being allowed to try. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 14-09-2025 12:36 Luca Brecel ended Jimmy White' challenge. I'm bemused by this "round of 256" nonsense. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Joannis - 14-09-2025 21:07 Aaron Hill made his first 147 as a professional. He went on to beat Yao PengCheng 4-2. Thepchaiya only made a 143, but he beat Haydon Pinney 4-1. Mink and Bai both lost. Milkins lost 4-1 to Ross Muir. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 16-09-2025 12:22 Kyren Wilson a big name to make a fairly early exit. |
