I was a little disconcerted that "Black Bolt" has a look of Dean Gaffney about him.

Iwan Rheon was great in MisFits, so no problem there, and Serinda Swan ditto.

People have said the acting is bad, I don't think it's an issue, it's the writing and production that are at fault, thankfully, those things can be fixed. There is so much potential, so if the show survives passed season one, they will be able to do better...provided they have a bigger budget and don't rush it of course.

Anson Mount is doing a great job with Black Bolt, I like that he worked on his own version of sign language for the character.
I was wondering how him communicating would work, he emotes really well without speaking, so I'm sold. As for the others, I can't think of a character/actor I have any major issues with, even Lockjaw, I kinda get it now.

2nd episode seemed to go a bit better (or I'm becoming desensitised to how crap it is Wink )

You kinda wonder why only Maximus was smart enough to tell that the soothsayer dude could see the future (albeit vaguely).

I've just binge-watched the first two episodes & I found the series to be okay but of the two new series I prefer The Gifted.I do like Crystal (Isabelle Cornish) & Medusa (Serinda Swan) but why did they have to cut her long ginger locks off ? she looks like a Sinead O'Connor tribute act now.
And just putting it out there that Black Bolt isn't actually a mute but he chooses not to speak because if he does his voice is capable of destroying a city.

The main problem with Inhumans is that it is on right in between other big hitting comic book series like The Flash,Arrow, Supergirl etc & so it has big shoes to fill or even compete with.
Perhaps the smartest thing to have done was to air the series once all the other series like The Flash have finished.

The biggest problem was they rushed it and it originally was going to be part of MCU movies till Kevin Feige fully took over Marvel Films and didn’t want then it was rushed out and put out the first two ep on IMAX.
If you check comic con a couple years ago you’ll notice Inhumans was part of MCU movie timeline now it’s gone.

It's called humour (or my attempt at it) sarky bollocks Wink & I only made the point about Black Bolt as I was knowledgeable about his special powers beforehand rather than what they portrayed so far in the series.A workmate of mine who had been watching the series didn't seem to understand the point of Black Bolt as he couldn't speak & didn't seem to have any powers (his words not mine).

I can't help wondering how Black Bolt has even made it to adulthood with that kind of power, especially within a small energy dome on the moon.
One good coughing fit or sneezing powder in his breakfast and everyone's fucked. Just as well he's not allergic to giant dogs. laugh

I would have assumed it would be a pretty rigid council that took a child who'd killed his parents, however accidentally, and gone "well, he IS the next in line, so..."
