What they need to do is recreate the cool heel cleaner character he had in Japan it started out that way when he first went heel but was dropped when he started his belt collector gimmick, he's very old school American coward heel now , I don't think fans want to see there champ hiding behind others these days,
I did read that aew are planning to turn him back baby face by the end of the year so they must have some interesting ideas coming up

i am surprised thats what you thought, he is talented as can work a good match with anyone, also hes got good charisma which has seen him get over with the fans in the north east USA and south east Canada where having him on a show can sell a lot of tickets, i hope you get the chance to see what he can really do in aew but guess until then we will have to see things different which is ok,

If they offered him crazy money he’d do it for sure. He’d want full control over his angles though. Khan and the elite could not be trusted to put together a decent storyline for him. Omega would want to beat him clean and one of the bucks would want to do a hogan no sell and comeback on him
