He played 5 tests against South Africa on the 1999/2000 tour of that country. He was a very promising international player of the late 90s. He was always being mentioned as a future test player. He played his county cricket for Sussex and Derbyshire. In general the same old shit as you put it have performed well in first few games of the county cricket season and deserve their chance to work with the new regime.
