Stuart Bingham is through to meet Shaun Murphy after a thrilling finish at the Crucible. Judd Trump trailed 13-11 at the start of the session.
Trump narrowed the lead to 13-12 but Bingham responded to take the next. Both men traded frames with high quality snooker as it reached 16-14 to Bingham.
Trump then hit two stupendous centuries to level at 16-16 and set up a deciding frame.
But Bingham held his nerve superbly in the final frame to clinch a memorable 17-16 victory.
An outstandingly tense semi final. What a match

Urgh, a nighmare-ish final. The disgusting Murphy vs the bland, blubbering Bingham. Come back Ronnie, all is forgiven !!!

Shaun Murphy leads Stuart Bingham 9-8 at the end of an absorbing first day of the final.
Frame winning breaks dominated the entire day.
Numerous breaks over 50 and some centuries too.
Murphy shot into a 3-0 lead but Bingham recovered to 3-2.
Murphy established a 2 frame lead at 4-2 before the Basildon potter came storming back to square the first session at 4-4.
In the evening Bingham lost an opening frame he had ample opportunity to win. Murphy then pulled away to an 8-4 lead as the tide looked to have turned in his favour.
But Bingham came roaring back once again to 8-7.
Murphy responded with a frame winning break in the next but the determined Bingham took the last frame of the day to trail by just one frame overnight.
