Alvarez knocks out Khan in round 6 - Have to say though, that up to that point Khan had been boxing beautifully, but that has to be one of the best knockout punches I've seen for a while, he caught Khan flush by the looks of it!!

Khan is a talented boxer but he has always had a glass jaw,so avoiding being caught by someone who punches as hard as Alvarez for 12 rounds was a big ask.

He didn't actually go up two weight divisions, it was a catch weight bout at 155 pounds which is just one pound over the light middleweight limit.

Alvarez vacates WBC title to speed up negotiations to fight Golvkin the IBO & WBA champion. This was due to Alvarez having to fight Golovkin by May 22nd or be stripped of title. Golovkin was then handed the WBC title. If anything this could be one of the best fights of the year, probably better than Mayweather V McGregor!!

I would think Haye will have a few more rounds tonight than he did in the last fight, but I still think he will have too much power for his opponent, even id he is unbeaten

This has to be the worst card in the history of 'professional' boxing. It's staggeringly inept from everyone involved. Bum fights galore. Ego stroking for the loathesome Hayes. And dire broadcasting from Dave. What an appalling advertisment for British boxing. And, no doubt, Haye will crush yet another tomato can opponent and still act as if he'd beaten the second coming of Mohammed Ali afterwards.

Would agree that the production & coverage on Dave isn't as slick as it would be if it was on the BBC!! I think the entrance by Haye was one like he thought he was still champ!!
