First the bad news: A totally dire song won last years competition
And now the even worse news: There is a 96% chance of an even worse song winning this year on the basis that 25 of the 26 entries were so mind bogglingly atrocious it makes Finding Nemo sound like a vocal version of Mozart

We could enter a hologram of Bucks Fizz singing "Making Your Mind Up" and we still probably wouldn't win. Let's pull out of 2026 and find a really good song and performer - decided by public vote here - for 2027. Somewhere along the line - we aren't doing something right musically.

You don't have to be a good singer to win these days , have you seen the muppets that have won in recent years even Maneskin i think are overrated.
