The BBC have announced that Gary Lineker is to leave the BBC at the end of the season.
He was to continue with the role during the World Cup but he's going to leave early.
This is after an ill thought of post on his social media.

Doubt Lineker gives a fuck earns millions from podcast company and will prob get huge check from either ITV or overseas broadcasters for the world cup
money will just be spent on someone else

By that logic Boomer you shouldn't be posting here, its not like he did it on MOTD when he was on the tax payers dime, he did it in his own time on independant platforms.
Whilst i never had a problem with him, which will no doubt come as a complete shock, its probably for the best he steps down. I'd certainly feel that way about someone posting something that related to black people as monkey's, Jewish people as rats was straight up Nazi propaganda
