Valiant effort from Judd to hold onto his title, but Selby's win breaks the streak of a different winner every tournament.
Selby is now World no.6, but he's seeded 8th in the Masters because Tubbs, the holder, and Zhao Xintong, the World Champion, are seeded higher than him. Still, being seeded in the top 8 means he avoids playing Neil Robertson in the first round and leaves that honour to Ronnie. That's if Ronnie doesn't throw his cue in the bin and withdraw again, in which case Chris Wakelin will be invited to take Ronnie's spot.

It would have been crushing to lose from a 5-0 vantage, so I'm glad he closed it out. But credit also to Judd for putting up such a good fight.
And at least we get a break from "Triple Crown this, Triple Crown that" for a few weeks.
