More delivery problems ordering off Amazon. This time it's Yodel who are the couriers - had an email to confirm delivery on Friday, but nothing's come. Delivery updates said delivered to a completely different address. Sad

Going through the process of feedback / troubleshooting messaging with Amazon and the seller now for the second time in three weeks. Had shit with Parcel Force before, then the issue was solved when the seller sent a replacement through UPS.

Fuck's sake - talk about broken infrastructure in this country. Sad annoyed

I can sympathise Reg. My last experience with Yodel was that they are a lying bunch of incompetents. I’d ordered some removal boxes on Amazon where I’m a Prime member. Next day came with no delivery & no advice of when delivery would be. Then the next day it said they’d tried to deliver but could not gain access to my drive. If you saw where I live you’d see that’s an impossibility. They said they’d tried try again and this time gave an estimated delivery time. I actually say in my dining room watching and they never came. Lo & behold they claimed I hadn’t been in. I therefore contacted Amazon & explained what had happened & got an instant refund.

A week later Yodal delivered! I therefore had 12 free removal boxes.

Yodel have always been and will always be utter crap. Same as Herpes/NEvri.

I only order from Amazon when I'm actually buying from Amazon as their Drivers round these 'ere parts are spot on and I've only had a couple of late deliveries in all the years I've used them. When buying elsewhere I try to stick to companies who offer DPD as an option as 99 times out of 100 I get the same 2 or 3 drivers and I can set my watch by them

As the weather is so hot I asked the Evri delivery driver if he'd like a bottle of cold water. When he said yes I dropkicked it over a fence into my neighbour's rose bush and told him I'd left it in a designated safe space.

Did driver retrieve said bottle from designated space? Thing is though the last time I once asked a postman why they didn't leave a parcel in the salt box outside as I designated as my designated safe space (It has a lid and is hardly ever opened unless it is icy) - they said "It's not a safe place mate, the salt will ruin it!" I mean blow me down with a feather! One time they left a parcel under my outside doormat and nearly fell over it!

Which companies deliver via DPD as standard?
I don't know who's worse Royal Mail, Evri or Yodel! I wonder which gets more letters parcels nicked en route. (by drivers) not to mention I bet there are some Everi/Yodel drivers don't speak much English and can't read English writing.

I bet they had it stuck in their warehouse on a pallet in a dark corner and forgot about it.. at least you got a win - win situation in the end. (Getting your money back and a free delivery!)

There I was celebrating getting through a few days of high pollen counts relatively unscathed & then I get this rather annoying summer cold. I watched a documentary last week which showed the scientific benefits of cycling as a proven method of boosting your immune system, well it hasn't worked with this virus, unless I can fight it off inside the expected 7 to 10 days.

...Hmmm I wonder if there's some method of recycling the fluid dripping out my nose to water the garden, with this hosepipe ban the plants need a drink.....I'm trying to put a positive spin on a shite situation.

Had that at the end of June. Got soaked helping one of the lads on the same job change a wheel.
Took a bloody fortnight to shake it off bladewave
