Walking into electrical shops and thinking "what the fuck is that?"
Looking at PCs before and one said on it "this PC has a touch screen". I got a flashback to the first time I saw Star Trek the motion picture, realised I was about 14 at the time, and then left Comet swiftly and in a mild state of distress.

When Radio 2 becomes your favourite Radio station. You hear songs from when you were a teenager and realise nearly 40 years has passed and feel a mix of disbelief at where the time has gone, and bitter sweet nostalgia as you remember where you were and what you were doing when said songs were a hit.

When you listen to Ken Bruce's Popmaster on Radio 2 and can answer every question as long as it relates to music before 1990.
Anything post 2000 leaves you completely stumped.
