I feel British boxers need to have a guge year next year and add to the exclusive list.

Having the shortlist of 6 sounds a little short given the year of good sport with many highlights couldn't imagine how hard it was to narrow it down for the journalists

This years contenders.

England's Euro 2025 winners Hannah Hampton and Chloe Kelly, rugby's history-making Ellie Kildunne, darts prodigy Luke Littler, golf legend Rory McIlroy, and F1 champion Lando Norris.

As I'm not a fan of women's sport, and I don't believe that pub games are sports, it's down to Norris or McIlroy.

Mind you where I work we sell a PDC sticker book (but not very many individual stickers)

I think that having 2 members of the same team will reduce the chances of either winning. This is a shame for Chloe, who is the only footballer, male or female, to score the winning goal in two European Nations finals.

It's between Kildunne, Littler and Norris IMO. I think they'll give it to Kildunne.

Tough one to call in a non Olympic year

Recency bias may favour Norris and the F1 fanbase may be greater than all the others

I'd personally give my vote to Mcllroy, winning the Masters and completing the Career Grand Slam and then being instrumental in Europe retaining the Ryder Cup and winning in the US for the first time in 13 years

The 2 Lionesses may split the votes they may otherwise have gotten

Littler should win the young award again and it may be just a matter of time until he wins the main award but still may suffer from the fact people will see it as just Darts.

I'd be surprised if Ellie Killdunne won it personally just because the Women's Rugby fanbase just isn't strong enough in a voting competition like this to carry her through but you never know, may the highlight package they put together on the night will be very persuasive

Mcllroy
Norris
Hampton

Would be my top 3 but Chloe Kelly may win in a vote between the 2 Footballers

But we shall see I guess

Well I had the right winner and Norris in the top 3 correct (think him not actually being there didn't help him)

Was really surprised KIlldunne was Runner up

I did mention about her highlight package needing to be good and I think it was the best of the lot telling her stroy perfectly and her interview was also the best of all of them and really came across well which might have won her some on the fence votes as well

I think once Europe had won the team award it was fairly obvious that a Mcllroy win was about to follow.

Norris wasn't going to interrupt his skiing holiday. Just decided to put on his dinner jacket and appear on the video link.

But it odd seeing all the ladies in their posh frocks. Chloe Kelly & Keely Hodgkinson were very memorable for the right reason.
