RE: Wimbledon 2024 - southsidestu - 05-07-2024 20:27 An amazing win for Emma to be so dominant over a top 10 player/seed, hopefully she will be able to build on that success on her road back to full strength RE: Wimbledon 2024 - Doddle - 05-07-2024 21:32 Sonay Kartal couldn't get past Coco Gauff, but a remarkable run to get this far. RE: Wimbledon 2024 - Skyline - 06-07-2024 10:11 A nice gesture from Emma Raducanu. A behind the scenes moment that we rarely see and should see more of imo - The staff kind of crack me up a bit in this because when the moment comes to be in the photo, they seem to disappear not knowing Emma wants to take a photo with all of them together ![]() RE: Wimbledon 2024 - southsidestu - 06-07-2024 14:57 Emma pulls oit of her mixes doubles with Murray over stiffness in her wrist Hopefully she will be good for her singles match RE: Wimbledon 2024 - Snooks - 06-07-2024 19:57 A lot has happened today in SW19. Iga Swiatek is out after losing 3-6 6-1 6-2 against Yulia Putintseva. Harriet Dart and Cameron Norrie both lost to Xinyu Wang and Alexander Zverev respectively. Meanwhile two time finalist Ons Jabeur was also knocked out by Elina Svitolina 6-1 7-6 (7-4). RE: Wimbledon 2024 - Doddle - 07-07-2024 21:29 Well, there goes Raducanu-mania ![]() RE: Wimbledon 2024 - southsidestu - 07-07-2024 23:18 It was a shame that she lost the third set so convincingly but at least she fought back for a good win in the second and didn't just roll over She's on the road to recovery, getting victories over two top 10 players in the last few weeks especially such a dominant display over Sakkari has been good progress made RE: Wimbledon 2024 - lovebabes56 - 08-07-2024 09:24 Quite agree, a disappointment for Emma but let's hope she's not too down hearted, I hope she is happy with her performances at Wimbledown & can now hope it's only onwards up & upwards for her, I don't know if she is provisionally picked for Paris, but I do wonder if she feels it is far better to swerve Paris and prepare more for the US Open, it would be a massive boost for her if she could regain that title. It was especially a problem back when Anna Kournikova was playing. RE: Wimbledon 2024 - lovebabes56 - 08-07-2024 17:22 ^Does Emma have the same effect? ![]() |
