Happy Yorkshire Day one & all.

It's been a great day, with a much needed win for Yorkshire CCC v Sussex at Scarborough, the best place to watch cricket in the country imho, Even Lancashire's David "Bumble" Lloyd said the same recently.

Has to be said. Yorkshire boasts the largest land mass as a county .
Spectacular views that come very close to Scotland's gorgeous landscapes.
I've spent some brilliant times amongst the folks of Yorkshire.
Proud folks that have reason to be proud .Big Grin

And Scarborough Athletic beat Sheffield Wednesday under 21's at Bridlington 1-0.
Scarborough's temporary home for this season while they get a new pitch laid at there own ground.

A mate of mine played for Scarborough FC, I liked the McCain Stadium, haven't been to the Flamingo Land Stadium yet.

I've got some Theakston's in , but for some reason on today of all days I've cracked open a brew from Clitheroe Bounce it feels like betrayal. Wink

I'm not actually taking much pleasure from Lancashire's struggles. I miss the Championship battles. At least Sir Jimmy might just carry on for another year or 2, promotion looks doubtful this season after a poor start.

Likewise for the ground attended comment. I did visit the Bridlington ground when they started off as Athletic and didn't have there own ground.
I believe the Athletic Ground is now a Lidl
