The All-Star game is definitely later than usual. Not exactly sure why either. I'm not a fan of the All-Star game anyway.

Los Angeles Dodgers finally get over line and into playoffs.
I am shocked that World Series doesn't start until 23rd October, that is way later than I remember it used to be.

Typical Los Angeles Dodgers performance in Game 2 of NLCS, Kershaw gives up 1 run, gets no help from his batters, based loaded in 6th inning with 1 out, 2 strikeouts follow.

Yeah the second game of the series was crucial and we lost it. We are at last chance saloon having to win 3 straight and 2 in St Louis which is going to be very difficult

yeah we got ourselves to 6-2 with 7 strong innings by Zack but got a little shaky top of 9th before seeing it out 6-4. So need two wins in St Louis to make World Series with Kershaw and Ryu likely to start game 6 and 7 if necessary. Good win to even up ALCS series by your Detroit Tigers last night, big 5 run 2nd Inning to add to 2 in 4th Inning to go 7-0 up before Boston got 1 in 6,7 and 9 innings to make it 7-3 final score. Game 5 will be crucial for Detroit as like Dodgers it will be hard for Detroit to have to win 2 games in Boston to win series

What an utter disaster for my Dodgers, in 3rd Inning, Puig made an error when instead of throwing to second base he made a wild throw to the plate which prevented us from tagging Beltran out or stopping him getting to second base which allowed St Louis to get 4 runs when they should only have got 1. Game was beyond us from that point. So as Dodgers bow out I wish the Detroit Tigers the best in game 6 and hopefully game 7 of their series with Boston.

Yeah, wasn't pretty last night. I was hoping LA would advance as I HATE St Louis; Those fuckers always seem to get the job done and win. Gonna be a horribly nervy night for Detroit later- especially if Tori Hunter & Prince 'Fatboy'Fielder keep hitting like amateurs. Fingers crossed we can take it to Game 7 tomorrow.

Oh well, there's always next year. 'twas an absolutely nailbiting series between the Tigers & the Red Sox, but we were just so poor with our bats. Not to mention our lame bullpen.
So then there were two: St Louis and Boston. Horrible choice to make, but I'd rather Boston win.
