Season 7 has been a blast.Surprise motherfucker was quite a surprise.I not sure how much further they can take this,by it's own standards it's fucked up beyond belief.

season 8 is the final season. the writers know how it is going to end.
i bet in 20yrs there will be a spin off based on harrison (dexeter's son) possibly set somewhere else not miami where he joins the police department and we dont know whether he is like his father or not.

Season 8 - the last series is being aired in the UK only a week after the run starts in the US in an attempt to prevent spoilers.

charlotte ramplings character vogel could be dexter's undoing. it would appears that they are going to have a season long serial killer.
when season 8 finishes 96 eps would have been aired, it would be nice to have an extra 4 eps so the final ever ep would be the 100th ep.
i bet dexter gets killed protecting harrison and debra.
