There you go, another stunning real-life prediction Huh

I hope Judd does at least keep in with all the good comments he's had this week.

So far playing out as I expected.
An exhausted Hawkins wilting somewhat and Trump easing away. A tough gig for The Hawk although he has just snatched the last frame of the afternoon to be only 2 behind.

Judd Trump held off a brave Barry Hawkins to win the final 10-8.

Fantastic win for Judd! From 9-6 up he was a spectator in the next 2 frames as Hawkins didn't let him pot a ball as he closed to 9-8. But like the champion he is Judd was able to take advantage of Hawkins missing a red into the middle to make a calm 67 break and leave Hawkins needing 2 snookers. Credit to Hawkins for skilful snookering ability as he got Judd into snooker after snooker, and some of those snookers looked bloody hard to get out of! But Judd showed he could get over the line even in that type of frame, only making one fowl and eventually potting a long brown and sealing the deal.

Hawkins doesn't have to wait long for a chance to get revenge as he's got Judd again in the Masters. Judd has another triple crown title, but I doubt he'll be relishing going up against Hawkins again in the next one.

Trump looked to be wobbling in the evening, but he clearly got it done. Weird to say he hadn't won it for 13 years.

Bai Yulu is off and running in UK Championship qualifying. She made 5 x over 50 breaks in her 6-1 demolition of Mostafa Dorgham.

Reanne Evans only made one over 50 break, but that's all she needed as she defeated Peter Lines 6-4.

Ng On-Yee failed to make it a womens treble. Fellow Hong Kong professional Marco Fu was too good for her, beating her 6-2.

Liam Pullen 147!!
Well done Sir.

RE: UK Championships - Doddle - 23-11-2025 13:30

Jimmy White got beat by someone young enough to be his grandson.

RE: UK Championships - Joannis - 23-11-2025 22:18

Yes fantastic performance by 14 year old Michal Szubarczyk to beat Jimmy White.

Apparently the first 3 players who make 2 x 147s across the Saudi Masters and the Triple Crown events this season can get the £147K bonus. Ronnie O'Sullivan was the 1st player to do it with his 2 at the Saudi Masters. Liam Pullen can get the bonus as well, as long as he can get another 147 in a triple crown event this season before 2 other players qualify for the bonus. Thepchaiya is also in that position as he got a 147 at the Saudi Masters.

Reanne Evans did well to take Michael Holt to a decider, but Holt won a scrappy deciding frame to win 6-5. Ka Wai Cheung came back from 5-2 down to beat Florian Nuessle 6-5. Milkins beat Mateusz Baranowski 6-2. Mink Nutcharut was unlucky to draw an in form Jiang Jun. Jun made 3 centuries and 3 over 50 breaks in a 6-0 whitewash. He must be one to watch.

Sadly Bai won't be repeating her heroics from last year as she lost 6-2 to Liu Hongyu.

Jiang Jun is still going, but just about. He needed a deciding frame to beat Ben Mertens 6-5. Ka Wai Cheung lost to Artemijs Zizins. Wins for Zak Surety and Bulcsu Revesz.
