Seems I'm doing equally as bad as last year with exactly the same points after 17 weeks. In a slightly worse position trailing the top spot by 15 points this season as opposed to 13 last year.

I hope the gap in points at the top hasn't put people off playing. Another five missed week 18, some of them missed the one before aswell. The dwindling numbers are slightly disappointing.

Ok everyone, I'm going to be really frank. Please treat this post with respect and let's have an honest discussion about the progress of this season's competition.
I guess I'm trying to gauge as much opinion as possible. I have obviously noticed that the number of participants in this season's competition has dramatically reduced from last season and that in my opinion interest in the game on the forum seems to be on the slide. It's really disappointing to see many players missing many weeks.
I'm just going to throw this out there and let's discuss your feelings and thoughts on the competition, do you have concerns, do you have ideas for possible solutions to regain interest in the game this season, are there any ideas for future seasons to maintain interest, do you have any opinions on how I've hosted the game, what are your thoughts on why the numbers have reduced?
I think all valid questions. Please, let's have as much feedback as possible. I have to say that with ten weeks remaining, I'm unsure whether it's worth hosting it next season.
If we can talk about any issues you feel are impacting the competition, perhaps we can identify solutions to those issues. I really am grateful for people contributing and want to help find methods to make this competition salvageable for next season.
Please, discuss. Let's talk this out. I'm very interested in any feedback anyone has to give. Thank you for listening.

You are doing a good job in running it again this year.
You are giving regular updates when expected.
The guys are fully aware of how to play and the rules.
I take it that there's been a drop off in the number participating, but that happens every year. And it hasn't helped with having a runaway leader.
But next session that could all change, as even I won it one year.
Best way forward is to see how many participants you have next session to see if it's worth continuing.

Not playing because you have no chance of winning is a bit childish, if that is really what has happened, I'd be surprised. Surely you just try & finish as high up as you can.
This format with 3 points for a correct score, & 6 for a joker should give all players hope.
Isn't Football our National Sport ? We should be able to get 20 committed players on a Forum of this size.
Don't tell me WWE is more popular

I think you do a brilliant job Reg! Sincerely! - I only joined in the better half of the last season but it's great fun to be part of and I know I'm well behind the leading pack, but that wont stop me playing!
You do an excellent job at running this competition, I don't think anything has to change because you have a solid foundation for this competition through your continued effort to keep it rolling along! - I really look forward to next season when I can give you guys a serious run for your money
