The surprise result this weekend was Sunday's match between the Faroe Islands and the Czech Republic. The Faroe Islands won 2-1.
The Czechs weren't happy about the humiliating result and have sacked manager Ivan Hasek.

Thomas Tuckel's named his squad for the this months qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.
He's given a first call up to Alex Scott. He plays for Bournemouth and not to be confused with the former England and current football presenter.

You can bet your last dollar that the Argies will find several million dollars spare somewhere and offer Beckham enough money to let them use it. But then again, all we got to hope is that Trump doesn't try to control the referees' decisions so that fix it for the USA to win it. Which what I wouldn't be surprised if he tries it

A good win for Ireland, beating Portugal 2-0. It also so Ronaldo get a straight red for an elbow against the back (may have been the back of the head) of an Ireland player.

A Harry Kane double in the second half was enough for England to beat Albania 2-0 in Tirana and end the qualifying campaign with 8 wins out of 8 with no goals conceded and 22 scored.
