RE: Fury vs Wilder3 - Who Wins? - Geriisgreat - 10-10-2021 12:14 In a way happy fury won and twice in America hopeful there will be a homecoming fight next As for wilder wouldn't mind him fighting Joshua if not before the rematch with uysk and then who knows on 12 months time finally see Joshua vs fury RE: Fury vs Wilder3 - Who Wins? - HannahsPet - 10-10-2021 16:04 Watching it have to say Fury Bossed it Interesting Stage entrance but he was loving it Singing ACDC as he was coming down ![]() ![]() Only shame British fans were not there Atmosphere would have been more electric RE: Fury vs Wilder3 - Who Wins? - hornball - 10-10-2021 17:25 Many said that Wilder was incapable of changing his mo, despite all the claims to the contrary. My god were they right!! He tried standing behind his jab early doors as a way to get to Fury, but couldn't stick with it! Not sure if he over trained?? but fatigued much quicker than Tyson did, and became the usual swinging right hand or bust merchant!! Tyson - on the other hand - despite being tagged early on, showed far superior boxing skills and incredibly - thought process in the end. Does Fury go to Usyk with a 'too good to refuse offer'?? to stop AJ/Usyk II (not a mandatory remember - just a clause)?? Or wait for the outcome, and take the winner?? As heavyweight contests go, one of the most memorable in a long time, despite the heavy 'lumberers union' once more. still not a patch on the first two fights of the night though!! Didn't match up to Fowler/Smith on DAZN for sure!! Great win for Smith after it seemed Fowler had his number early on. Willianson/cheeseman was on a different level again!! toe - to -toe RE: Fury vs Wilder3 - Who Wins? - lovebabes56 - 11-10-2021 08:32 The one thing Usyk probably will stun Fury with, is his agility and awkwardness. He made Joshua look far too exposed. To fight Usyk, Fury will need a really good A game plan (which Joshua didn't have). I believe Whyte now becomes mandatory challenger to Fury and if Fury gets through that one, then it has to be Fury Vs Usyk or Fury Vs Joshua. I personally think If Joshua loses again to Usyk I think Fury Vs Joshua will only happen if it becomes Battle of Britain type superfight, I reckon Joshua could & should try to claim the British or European HW title for that fight, as I doubt if Fury will even lay his titles on the line for it Then for his last fight it will be an 'all or nothing' fight with Usyk to either retire undefeated or be beaten. But whatever happens, Usyk probably could be HW champ for a good few years. He could be the champ that probably puts the spark back into HW boxing once Joshua and Fury are retired. Or wait for the outcome, and take the winner?? Going to Usyk wouldn't stop his fight with Joshua unless Joshua was willing to forfeit his rematch clause, which seems unlikely. Dillian Whyte is now the mandatory challenger anyway, so long as he doesn’t lose to his fight against Otto Wallin on October 30. If Whyte does win that fight, expect Fury-Whyte to take place around the same time as the forthcoming Usyk-Joshua contest. |
