Congratulations to New Zealand on a 3-0 series win an outstanding achievement. To win a series in India is rare, but this is way beyond any ones expectations including New Zealand's. A country that are more accustomed to batting & bowling in seaming conditions, this is an amazing effort.

The Pakistan Cricket Board have confirmed India will not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan are the designated hosts of the tournament. Attention now turns to how the tournament can incorporate India. A hybrid solution of the UAE hosting India games has been moored but the PCB are seemingly against any hybrid format.

No doubt the BCCI will wield it's power and get it's own way as usual Rolleyes.

A Pakistan v India final would really put the at amongst the pigeons Tongue.

This is a mouth-watering series in prospect, India will feel hurt by the loss to the Kiwis, can Australia inflict an Antipodean double over India. Australia will award a debut to McSweeney who open the innings after the Smith experiment, the bulk of their squad are in their 30's, in contrast to India who are already in the process of a rebuild.
With the arrival of India's captain Rohit Sharma delayed after attending the birth of his child, it will be a head to head of Bumrah v Cummins as fast bowling captains.
