RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 02-05-2025 21:14 Into the final he goes with a highly impressive 6-3 7-6 (7-4) victory over Lorenzo Musetti. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 04-05-2025 22:23 Unfortunately Draper came up short in the final losing 7-5 3-6 6-4 to Casper Ruud. Still a good run though. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 05-05-2025 13:48 Incredibly well, if it gets him into the world top 5! RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 05-05-2025 15:37 Encouraging to see him competing so well on clay too. Good signs for the upcoming French Open at Roland Garros. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 10-05-2025 13:38 Draper and even Raducanu going well this week so far ![]() RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 11-05-2025 16:00 Another fine win for Emma Raducanu. She has beaten Veronika Kudermetova 5-7 6-0 6-1 in Rome ![]() RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 11-05-2025 18:36 Jack Draper also progressed with a 6-4 6-3 win over Vit Kopriva ![]() RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 12-05-2025 18:47 Emma out in Rome after being beaten by world No.3 Coco Gauff. It's been a good tournament for her, despite losing in the last 16, and having Mark Petchey on her coaching staff she has won 8 of her last 11 matches on clay - a surface she never played much in her early career and she readily admits "I'm still finding my feet on it" - but if she has a good run in the French Open I should think that could catapult her back into the top 40. I would definitely agree there are some good positives to take away from Rome for her that can help her prepare for Roland Garros. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 12-05-2025 21:19 She seemed to put together a steady run of wins this week, and accepted that Gauff was a much higher-ranked player for good reason. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 13-05-2025 21:19 Jack Draper won through though, in a decider. |
