Probably the best forum to acknowledge the retirement of Meg Lanning from international cricket! typical no - nonsense Aussie in the way that she went about her cricket and her leadership! A seriously good player in her own right, I liken her to AB in her style (albeit right handed) of batting, and her leadership. Not the worst bowler/all rounder either!

^^ Obviously found some clarity after time away from the game, it must take its toll to keep up the highest of standards year after year, aggressive batting, often scoring big runs when the pressure was on. You could take her batting or captaincy in isolation, and both could stand alone as World Class. Won everything there was to win, no need to keep going back to the well, nothing more to prove.
