And let's face it, the Women's team showed us that by having a bit of sheer bloody - mindedness, a determination and a never giving up attitude coupled with a forward thinking coach - you can achieve something. We should be proud of them. Doing it the bloody hard way has proven what a great team spirit there is within.
Then I'm left wondering why our men's can't do the same bloody thing. I think a lot of it is down to two things - personal egos getting in the way, and being too bloody, totally negative on the pitch.
