RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 24-02-2025 23:33 A statement win, this team is like a fuckin tsunami late in the second half of games. RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 25-02-2025 14:57 ^^ I've calmed down a little from last night, but to back up my point. 21 goals scored from the 75th minute onwards. Farke has had critic over the timing of the subs, yet 14 goals have been scored by them & countless assists. 71 goals without a genuine number 9, a position which is hard to fill even in the Prem. A staggering goal difference of +50 achieved with a poor keeper. RE: Leeds United F.C. - Regenerated - 25-02-2025 16:08 Ruined my bet. I had them to win by just 2-1. ![]() ![]() RE: Leeds United F.C. - Charlemagne - 29-04-2025 12:07 A Leeds win on Saturday makes them a certanty to win the league. And to celebrate this the Chairman's flying in on Monday (according to reports) to........... sack the manager. RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 03-05-2025 15:27 Leeds, Leeds, are falling apart again.... ![]() ...Champions again Ole Ole ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 04-05-2025 19:24 Speculation over for the time being. RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 05-05-2025 18:19 ...We're gonna stay with you forever At least until the world stops going round RE: Leeds United F.C. - William H Bonney - 07-05-2025 14:38 Congratulations to Daniel Farke for winning the Championship for the 3rd time (in his 5th Championship season). RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 21-08-2025 12:54 Match Review Leeds United 1 - 0 Everton - Monday 18'8/25 - 20.00 The home team were worthy of 3 points regardless of opinions on the penalty awarded. Under the current directive that the officials are working to they made the correct call. Saying that, had a similar call been given against Leeds I'd have felt it was unlucky. After 2 seasons back in the Champo the initial pace of the game felt a step up, Everton looked bright, but Leeds quickly took control, & were untroubled Perri wasn't required to make a save until the 2nd half. Despite good possession, Leeds didn't create many clearcut chances themselves. Everton had more of the ball in the 2nd half, but Leeds repelled any attacking threat comfortably. Everton were surprisingly poor across the board. Leeds just lacked the finishing quality, (penalty aside) & require higher quality playmakers to unlock Prem defences. Plenty of endeavour, but Gnonto & James need to do more. Overall a solid workmanlike performance from Leeds against average opposition, tougher challenges to come... RE: Leeds United F.C. - Boomerangutangangbang - 23-08-2025 20:35 Match Review Arsenal 5 - 0 Leeds Not much to report here. ![]() An inability to cope with Arsenal's high press was a constant concern & resulted in the 2nd goal. Trying to play out from the back & getting caught in possession time & again, the need to try to bypass the press on occasions was glaringly obvious. As expected Leeds had only 33% possession, with only 3 shots, one of which required a decent save from a Struijk header from one of the 2 corners they managed. It was a case of men v boys, until Arsenal actually subbed on a boy, who was still better than the Leeds boys. He looked mature beyond his years so much so that you can't help but admire the dive which won the penalty for the 5th goal. The contact was minimal. 'm sure this boy has a bright future in the game, but if not a career in acting. No surprises here when you consider during Arteta's reign the club have topped a billion in transfer spending, a figure Leeds can only dream of. That gap widens further as newly promoted clubs are only allowed to spend a fraction on transfers as the rest of the Premier League. EDIT : One positive is that the home fans were quiet considering the score line, the travelling supporters were on song. ![]() |
