RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 23-01-2023 09:48 49ers 19 - 12 Cowboys A real tough defensive battle, with the kicking game in the spotlight, after last week Mayer had his first extra point blocked, but settled down. Prescott threw 2 int's, with the Niners only turnerover coming from a fumbled return. CD Lamb had 10 receptions for 117 yards, as the Cowboys lost key RB Pollard to an ankle injury. The Niners found a spark, after a spectacular juggling catch by Kittle, who had 5-95 yards. The Kittle reception was the key play in a drive that resulted in a McCaffrey 2-yard TD run, & 10 4th quarter points. RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 23-01-2023 09:53 Sunday 29 January NFC Conference Championship 49ers @ Eagles - 20.00 AFC Conference Championship Bengals @ Chiefs - 23.30 RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Charlemagne - 24-01-2023 18:50 (19-01-2023 15:29 )Charlemagne Wrote: Now that Tampa Bay are out of this years season the question is being raised about Tom Brady. When asked if he was going to play next session an annoyed Brady said: "If I knew what I was going to f---ing do, I'd have already f---ing done it, I'm taking it a day at a time." RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 29-01-2023 19:49 Predictions for tonight's games, Eagles & Bengals to win. RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Charlemagne - 29-01-2023 20:04 You could be right with your choices. I'd normally back Kansas City but this year they have a few few problem areas. And their star tight end Travis Kelcie is having problems with back spasms. He's probably going to play but only for important 3rd downs. And the 49er's can't afford to let the Eagles get an early start. They have had good second half performances in the last 2 matches but they won't get the same freedom in tonight's match RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 30-01-2023 12:54 The game was effectively over for the Niners once Purdy left to game with an elbow injury. The defense kept them in it for a while, but it just got messy. Usually a disciplined team, but frustration resulted in damaging penalties. I felt that the public were robbed of a great contest, which could've matched up to the AFC Championship game. is there really anything more you can say about Mahomes. Clearly severely hampered by his injury & didn't have all his best targets on the field yet somehow found a way with a scrambled run which resulted in a game winning field-goal. RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Charlemagne - 30-01-2023 13:18 Penalties was the major problem in both games. Hitting Mahones when he was out of bounds lost the Bengals the chance of the Superbowl. So it's the Eagle's v Chiefs, now who do I want to win the least. But I take it that the final is in 2 weeks, so I can't watch it anyway. RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Snooks - 30-01-2023 20:34 As per usual the teams I wanted to win both lost. Such is life ![]() RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Charlemagne - 01-02-2023 14:33 (19-01-2023 15:29 )Charlemagne Wrote: Now that Tampa Bay are out of this years season the question is being raised about Tom Brady. It's now been announced that he's going to retire. He had 7 superbowl wins. RE: NFL 2022-2023 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 01-02-2023 16:18 ^^ I was reading earlier today that a number of people close to him that he would me than likely play on. ![]() I like how it has been reported with a "for good" added for good measure. |
