When was the last time that City were 2-0 down against anyone?
30 mins gone
Full time, 3-2 to Norwich, just goes to show that if teams actually try and play against City they have a chance, especially with Stones and Otamendi at centre back. Too often teams will sit everyone behind the ball against City just hoping they don't get smashed instead of at least trying to be proactive, showing no ambition and they get battered by 3, 4 or 5 goals anyway, they are not some invincible super humans, without Kompany and now Laporte gone until at least January they are VERY suspect at the back
I think your analysis is right. If teams were to attack City more, then they'll find they can give them problems. I think the other thing is, if you let City dictate the pace and flow of the game then you won't get a look-in and will get smashed. It would be nice to see teams expose them more like Norwich did last week, and then games would entertaining and not predictable and maybe while Kompany and Laporte are out, this is the best time to expose those weak chinks in their armour before they return.

Seeing Tottenham started with a draw in their CL qualifying does ask questions whether Tottenham will progress from their group this season.

They lost the first 3 group games of last seasons Champions League group stage so a draw away from home isn't so bad (even though they were 2 nil up and should have seen it through) so they should still get out of the group, it would be a surprise if they didn't

That I will admit would be a surprise and do think the group this time round is easier in terms of them getting out of it, but if they failed to get out of it I wonder how much pressure the fans then would heap on Pochettino to deliver the Premier League title if that was the case. But I think the team would be looking at that result and go 'Hmm, okay we didn't lose, got a point, but we need to improve for the next one'

Callum Wilson scored the luckiest goal of his career tonight...GK got an assist as well!

Man City 5-0 up against Watford after 18 minutes!
RE: Football Banter - lovebabes56 - 22-09-2019 06:53
I'm thinking current score : Man City 14 Watford 0!! At least Man City are back to winning ways after last week's defeat!!

Odds on Poch being sacked before Solskjaer?
just found this : -

I think Poch would walk away before Levy had a chance to sack him
