Our friendly oversees counterparts expect us to shell out until the final leaving date.
The problem being they keep lengthening that date and expect our cash.

We get less than we put in... If we kept our money and distributed it to our own worthy causes we're quids in.
Get rid of the Euro MPs they do fuck all and rake it in. Europe know they still need our trade. Its a huge planet and doesn't have to revolve around Europe.
Once a consignment of goods leaves our shores and lands in Zeebrugge... It's classed as European freight. They won't turn down our business.

The main reason is like the rest of Europe we have thousands of staff in Brussels whose pensions will be paid by Brussels and the pensions have since the beginning been underfunded, so it is not unreasonable to expect us to pay for that, in addition to that we have to pay our share of projects which have not completed, now the Brexiteers complain but on this Britain does receive a lot of infrastructure aid
When they quoted 350 Million a week that was before rebates, and aid and the net was nothing like that, just political economy with the truth.

That is a very good article, the MEPs are certainly on the gravy train, however for the civil servants it is a different story.
But the MEPs had a position of authority and no one to stop them getting
on the gravy train, this is the reason we need more accountability and transparency.
