That was a crazy crazy match against Sweden. The penalty shoot out was particularly bonkers. How on earth England won that I will never know but they got it done in the end.

Spain even missed a pen in their next game , surprised by that for the best team in the world and to be fair had a really poor game against Switzerland , i thought that was going to be 6-0 , only 2-0 in the end.
So on that performance maybe that give England a chance against Spain if they get there and of course Spain still have to get there to.

Sample sizes for women’s shootouts are smaller (11 shootouts in Women’s World Cup history vs. 35 in Men’s), which may affect statistical reliability.

I'm not a stats man but I've watched the last couple of games and I've seen loads of penalties taken and very few scored.
But I lost interest after muttering, "couldn't hit a barn door".
