RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 31-10-2022 22:34 I enjoyed it too. Though the show has done pick-ups before, there's plenty of other things to do, and Asia seems a home from home for the show. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 07-11-2022 15:12 Good stuff again, I probably found the micro-cars more appealing, but the Grossglockner more than Paris. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 15-11-2022 22:15 Almost a normal edition this week, with rallying, an "F1 car for the road" and of course a Range Rover test. Driving through a stream would be little more pleasant than a dried-up one. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 22-11-2022 15:43 At least they put a different spin on "hey, kids, isn't motor racing cool?" RE: Top Gear - skully - 23-11-2022 13:01 I wish it had been its own thing, a separate show, as it made for a boring episode of Top Gear imo. RE: Top Gear - Spike1876 - 23-11-2022 13:31 I think it would have been a bit better if Chris had done it RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 23-12-2022 22:39 Like others, I missed the last one on Sunday night, but praise be for repeats, blessed be the licence fee, and now I have seen it. Quite a fun end to the series, a charming fast car review, a not particularly original but still pleasant look at delivery vans, and then an also not original but still well meant look at family cars. I do wonder whether Flintoff's injury might be the beginning of the end for this line-up. He might want to go on and on, but I wonder whether it might prey on Paddy's mind more. RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 17-01-2023 16:10 BBC 3 are showing Top Gear America on Sunday nights, two eps at a time. Only 35 minutes, and fronted by Americans and filmed in America, but a good watch for all that. Actor Dax Harwood is the main presenter. They seem to tend to do two-part "research" things, with a "proper" review in the middle. Or iPlayer, maybe, I dunno. They did a good thing on supercars last night by going to Montana. RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 06-09-2024 09:21 Chris Harris on Joe Rogans podcast interesting said he had gone to bosses months before freddies accident saying he saw issues with saftey and that if they continued someone could have been seriously injured or killed |
