Both full backs were terrible. Bronze was below par and Carter looked like centre back playing at fullback.
And Williamson gets kicked on the knee (which needed bandaging) and the other foot scraps her back. There's a check for a potential red card and what do they do, they give the ball to England and tell them to kick it to France. I'd kick it back towards the goalkeeper as hard as possible. Referee 1 out of 10.

Hopefully they go out in the group stage. Then at least the BBC and ITV can stop pretending that they, and their viewers, could actually give a toss about women's football.

For Defending Champions England did have a very tough group to begin as i thought before the tournament started , a part from Wales , so it would be no surprise if they went out in the Group Stage.

No, the 16 teams are drawn into 4 groups of 4. The group winners and runners-up advance to the knockout rounds.

England are through to the last 8 where they will face Sweden. Tonight they saw off Wales 6-1 in their final group match.

To finish 2nd and get Sweden was the strike of lucky they needed , avoided Germany , however Sweden might still be tough they did batter Germany 4-1.
