RE: Women's Football - Charlemagne - 05-07-2025 22:25 Both full backs were terrible. Bronze was below par and Carter looked like centre back playing at fullback. And Williamson gets kicked on the knee (which needed bandaging) and the other foot scraps her back. There's a check for a potential red card and what do they do, they give the ball to England and tell them to kick it to France. I'd kick it back towards the goalkeeper as hard as possible. Referee 1 out of 10. RE: Women's Football - Jamie's Knight - 05-07-2025 22:35 Hopefully they go out in the group stage. Then at least the BBC and ITV can stop pretending that they, and their viewers, could actually give a toss about women's football. RE: Women's Football - William H Bonney - 06-07-2025 11:08 Sarina Wiegman has lost a tournament match as a manager for only the 3rd time (P27 W23 D1 L3). RE: Women's Football - Kingsmind - 06-07-2025 16:57 For Defending Champions England did have a very tough group to begin as i thought before the tournament started , a part from Wales , so it would be no surprise if they went out in the Group Stage. RE: Women's Football - southsidestu - 08-07-2025 12:07 Does the woman's Euros have a best 3rd place finish. Could they lose to Netherlands & go through on gd by thrashing wales ? RE: Women's Football - shaun blue - 08-07-2025 12:21 No, the 16 teams are drawn into 4 groups of 4. The group winners and runners-up advance to the knockout rounds. RE: Women's Football - Snooks - 09-07-2025 18:31 A much improved performance from England today against a strong Dutch team. Much more control and dynamism in their play. A convincing win looking on the cards. RE: Women's Football - Snooks - 13-07-2025 21:59 England are through to the last 8 where they will face Sweden. Tonight they saw off Wales 6-1 in their final group match. RE: Women's Football - Kingsmind - 14-07-2025 11:49 To finish 2nd and get Sweden was the strike of lucky they needed , avoided Germany , however Sweden might still be tough they did batter Germany 4-1. RE: Women's Football - southsidestu - 17-07-2025 23:16 Whether its the men's team or the woman's team England are the nation that shows its better to be jammy than good |
