Would you say that they have got that blokey camaraderie that was there with Hammond, May & Clarkson back - but better?

i often think Chris Harris was probably in Matt LeBlanc's shadow for a bit and I hope in this series he isn't in Freddie's or Paddy's too much either

RE: Top Gear - GMach1 - 17-06-2019 13:52

Great first episode, Paddy McGuinness will take some getting used to as a presenter(I reckon that dreadful quiz thing he did will not return for a second series) but Andrew Flintoff and Chris Harris have a good rapport and the three of them have taken the programme back to what James May once called "three blokes dicking about in cars" I think Top Gear has reclaimed its roots(Le Blanc was good but it felt too American for me) and it was genuinely laugh-out loud funny. I wonder though how the Americans will take to it, quite apart from the Northern accents, how do you explain what a knobhead and a bell-end is; mind you they've foistered enough of their dopey slang on us-it's PAY BACK time!! Big Grin Make some Vroooooom boys, TOP GEAR IS BACK!! Big Grin

^ I agree. I was worried it wouldn't work, but I actually enjoyed it.
