Beth Mead has scored her first two club goals for Arsenal since her return from long term rupture to the anterior cruciate ligament.
Both goals came in a 3-0 home victory over West Ham.

West Ham ladies get their historic first ever win against Arsenal in the WSL. It seemed unlikely when Alessia Russo put Arsenal 1-0 up in the first half, but 2 second half goals by the Hammers was enough to pull off the unlikely victory.

Chloe Kelly has made a loan move to Arsenal (to join up with pretty much the rest of the Woman's England squad Smile) - it seems on paper atleast you'd think Arsenal should be running away with the league, especially with the talent in their squad.

It will be great to see Chloe link up with her fellow England players and the next game for Arsenal just happens to be against Man City on Sunday 2nd February at 12:00pm, which should be a good match to watch, if she plays.

There also seems, from some reports, that there seems to be some animosity from Chloe towards some certain quarters within Man City - She has accused Man City of attempting to "assassinate her character" by "planting negative stories" about her in the media and dictating where she can and can't move to (I did hear her first choice was Man Utd but I think Arsenal would be a good fit for her too imo)

I find this a shame if this is the case as Chloe is great and has been for England in the past, however Arsenal is a good move for her Smile.

Arsenal have beaten the seemingly invincible Barcelona 1-0 to win the Women's Champions League.

Well done to them and first English winner since 2007 which also happened to be Arsenal.

Congrats to Arsenal doing English women's soccer proud (and doing it better than the men's team) - Arteta needs to pick up a few tips from the women's coach for next season!!
