The World Test Championship between India & New Zealand from the a Wednesday finish, if required.Hampshire Bowl start at 10.30am today, a day late after rain washed out yesterdays play. provision has been made to make-up time, hence the 10.30 start, & an extra day, with a Wednesday finish, if required.
New Zealand have won the toss & will bowl on a pitch that is expected to offer something for the bowlers having been covered for most of yesterday. A good toss to win as they are playing to their strengths with 4 seamers & all-rounder de Grandhomme. India have stuck to their guns & gone with the side they named yesterday, with 2 spinners & 3 seamers.

As one England player returns to action, in Stokes comeback against the bears in the T20, another is hit by injury, Olly Stone has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a stress fracture of the back. It's the 3rd injury of this nature. He was expected to make the Ashes Tour this winter, which must be in doubt.

New Zealand bowled India out shortly after lunch on day 3. They lost 7 wickets for68 runs as they slipped from 149-3 to 217 all out. Jamieson was the pick of the bowlers with 5-31. Rahane top scored with 49 & Kohli didn't add to his overnight score.
Despite losing time, a result still looks possible, batting looking difficult,
