RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 10-05-2021 18:26 The 5 wickets by Pakistan's left-arm bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi (5-52) & Nauman Ali (5-86) in the 2nd innings of this match was only the 2nd time this has occurred in a Test Match. The first case was of this feat was England's George Hirst & Colin Blythe, against Australia at Edgbaston in 1909. When the 2 bowlers in question took all 20 wickets for England. If you add Hasan Ali (5-27) in the 1st innings to the 2 left-armers, this is the first time that 3 Pakistan bowlers have achieved this in a Test Match, & only the 6th time for any side, the last occasion was at Edgbaston in 1993, when Australia's Paul Reiffel, Shane Warne, & Tim May all picked up 5-fors against England.
