James Corden is a busy bee, and Ashlee Simpson is busy with a residency. Whilst Chance the Rapper, Seth Reiss and Governor Andy Beshear are mainly likeable and chatty.
Josh Gad and Tom Pelphrey had fun stories, whilst America Ferrara and Hugh Bonneville were reflective on their careers. The latter ep had an opening monologue from Seth about the Charlie Kirk shooting, tying it to several years of troubles, whilst he brought up Hugh's red carpet plea about Gaza, letting him repeat it. A rare case of political comments beyond endless similes about Trump.

Again from 2013, and somewhere Tony had spent his life hoping to visit, and despite the political issues, he makes it to enjoy a boat ride on the river, struggles to cook coq au vin, and visits an abandoned govt project and the people trying to hold off the inevitable march of time. And again, though things looked grim then, compared to now...
He was surprised in 2014 to find that hospitality is real, and despite some filming issues, almost everyone is friendly, and the food is great, whilst the architecture in Isfahan is worth checking out and breaks up the antics in Tehran.

1/4 He regularly uses the Royal Scotsman train, and thus makes a good fit for an extended advertorial for its usage, from the food to the hygiene to the scenery. This week, the West Highland Line, and therefore the bloody Glenfinnan aqueduct.

Naoki is back again, meeting Morohoshi Daijiro, who at least lets his face appear. He flubs a background in one panel, and has troubles fixing it. But he seems to enjoy the analytical experience.
An episode from this year, as Naoki meets the legendary (!) Otomo Katsuhiro, whose Akira work really shook up the field. Rather than waste an old man's time at work, they just talk through panels from another of his works, Domu. Again, impressive stuff.

Bill Bailey took over as host, and managed to recycle some old bits of his act, for the benefit of the kind of audience who probably didn't go to his own shows in the first place.
