RIP Shane Mcgowan

By chance he was born on Christmas Day. The Pogues were a quality band, I loved the punk/folk fusion. He was a great frontman, it didn't matter that he couldn't sing, but above all a brilliant songwriter/poet.
I'm sure he's saved some money on the funeral costs, he's been slowly embalming himself with alcohol over the years.
