What happened to babevideo? Is it coming back?

We still have all the videos from Babevideo. Hopefully we can find a way of making them available again, although most of them are still in flash format which is blocked by Adobe and therefore won't play in browsers anymore. It would be nice to restore what we have, so we'll definitely try to find a good solution.

I could probably write a python script to convert them to mp4 if you wanted?

Can this website be revived again? This was a goldmine

Yes it truly is a goldmine, as there's literally thousands of videos there going as far back as 2008. By the way, thanks to joeman for kindly offering to convert the videos to mp4, although we do have a few options for conversion so that in itself isn't a huge issue. We could even make the videos available for download only, which would be a way around the browser problem. The big question is really how to upload the videos and how to present them. If anyone's interested in hosting the content or some of the content then we could work with that. Or if anyone has any suggestions about the best place to upload the content then let us know.

I have no idea what or how to host content but I'll be happy to help anyway possible.
