This show came with a lot of hype, but thankfully it's lived up to, & in many ways exceeded expectations. I thought this was going to be yet another post apocalypse drama in the mould of The Walking Dead. It may be a tried & tested genre, but despite that the filming, script, soundtrack, made it an enjoyable watch. What elevated it above the norm was the quality of acting by a brilliant cast. No surprise that season 2 is planned.

I still haven’t managed to get a PlayStation controller to work with this show.

David from Ep 8 creepy as fuck and a great season finale can’t wait for Season 2.

It was a nice touch casting Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, the voice actors for Joel and Ellie in the game, in the last two episodes, Troy played the cannibal pastors right hand man, and Ashley played Ellie's mum

Actress Merle Dandridge who played Marlene also voiced the character in the video game and Actor Jeffery Piece who played Perry and gets torn apart by a bloater was the voice actor for Tommy in both The Last of Us Parts I and II video game.
