Devastating & very sad news. Nichelle Nicholls was not just an icon in Sci-Fi, she was an icon in TV & Film full stop as she was one of the first high profile Black Actresses in TV & Film and was one half of the 1st interracial kiss on tv

Saw Nichelle in 2018 at Destination Star Trek in Birmingham and whilst her health was in decline, she was in good spirits & had plenty of stories to tell.
