In fairness, Styles has had a much better 12 months than most of us would have assumed possible.

But an imaginative Rumble winner, like Cesaro, is unlikely.

I had also seen that rumble poster that went around, shameful to put the main championship so far back in relavence to the others really, maybe its the holder or not who knows but it was unusual to see thats for sure. I can see the prediction thread is going to interesting, not many predictable matches as it stands.

Spot on mate.It's not the first time they've disrespected the champion,they did this back when Jericho was the undisputed champion.Always making sure that everyone understood that Stone Cold,The Rock and especially Triple H were still the top guys.
You're right about this year's Rumble card itself though,tough to call.

Thought if Goldberg or Lesnar or Taker win then they will be going for the Universial title. Goldberg during his segmant he was like your next to Reigns and KO

Undertaker was always my early bet to win the Royal Rumble but with the re-surfacing on a few sites about his injuries ie hip replacement surgery etc I can't see it.I'd plump for a slight outsider in Bray Wyatt or Randy Orton to set up a feud between them down the line.
As for unconfirmed Rumble entrees I'd like to see Finn Balor return & a call up for Samoa Joe & Bobby Roode.Certainly hoping for a Kurt Angle appearance.
Would be a big disappointment if AJ drops the title against Cena as he's Smackdown's best performer by a country mile.

I could see a joe appearance at the rumble or post rumble raw, hes been more than ready for the main roster for sometime now, despite the marketing of the brands being equal my gut feeling is the winner will most likely come from the raw side.

^^some interesting arguments being made by all here but in the end I think WWE will go with the usual,short term fix approach.

Its a far stretch, but if omega made an appearance I would mark out as much as I did for styles this time last year, going to be real interesting to see where he sees himself hes due to make an announcement soon weather he leaves or re-signs with new japan.
