Camming - best streaming advice

Camming has become the big money maker for the girls. But some of the streams are of a poor standard.
What advice would you give the girls to improve their streaming quality.
This thread is for the best working practice, and not for us to have a go at any girl.
(only streaming advice, no tip goals please)

I'll start off with my pet hate. Girls who have too light a background.
It can be sunlight, or white walls and there is even a girl who sits in front of a large set of white drawers.
I take it that the cameras are light sensitive and although the room looks correct the models appear in silhouette.

Location in camming is key.
Dark background
Lighting should be in front of the model, not behind them.

A quality computer is important, try and get one with the most powerful CPU and RAM.

Don't try to run too many features.
One camera, the pervecam OR the main one. The lovesense can't be run too if your internet isn't good.
Use a cable rather than rely on wifi in the home, so you might have to broadcast from the living room rather than upstairs.
Bright colours will look better, a bright red cushion or yellow dress, pastel shades are a no no.

lighting is the most important, you will need far more light than in a normal house, buy an LED light panel the amount of light it floods the area with will make such a difference any webcam will see a better picture, look at Tori shes a great example in the last few weeks shes got a studio quality light and its making the same cam on the same internet look about 10 times better as the camera can see everything easily

Don't have the webcam sitting on the bed while your bouncing about.

I like a nice medium or wide shot that allows the girl to move around a little and change position -- e.g. Rebecca Kelly, Heather Kay, Preeti, Tori.

Sophie, Darelle, Danni and others keep the frame so tight that they are pretty much stuck in a single pose for hours on end.

I've also really dug the way that Katy and Marnie have moved around the house and garden for a bit of variety, although lighting really becomes an issue then.

I've seen girls trying to use the webcam build into their laptop, not a good idea imo, it limits the viewing angles, generally offers lower quality and makes it annoying if you're trying to "direct" the girl and she keeps having to adjust the laptop screen. always use a separate camera.

a decent internet connection is also a must, but (as Chrisst also said) that can be solved by just using a wired connection.

Perhaps a colour coding rating scheme could be useful for the from home shows cam quality with gold being best etc.

I don't know what Jess uses, but it does feel very much like you're looking out from a laptop when she carries it through to the bathroom.

Maybe she has a proper cam stuck on top of it though.
