Fan Platforms

Further on the terms of Twitter's Super Follows, I was looking it over and happened to notice this clause:

"No revenue share payment will be issued for any amount of less than fifty US Dollars (US$50.00) (“Minimum Payment Threshold”)."

It seems crazy. They must be aiming at a very limited market, as I can't imagine many creators being happy with that restriction.

Good work William. What a phenomenon this fan platform concept has turned out to be. I see paying for adult content with cryptocurrencies becoming the next big thing.

I haven't read the terms, but is that not monthly total? Most serious creators would surely be above that or it would hardly be worth their bother.

Even if they weren't, I imagine Twitter will keep rolling it over till the threshold is met. It will be a way of keeping payment processing costs down.

Yes you're right, it just rolls over to the next month and keeps rolling it over till the threshold is met. There's no drama here.

Most of the fan platforms have lower thresholds though, so I imagine that was the point being made. OnlyFans is $20 for most of their creators, AVN Stars is $25, Pocket Stars is $40, AdmireMe is in Pounds and is £20. There was a bit of a fuss being made at Fansly having a $100 minimum, but they reduced it to $20 to keep everyone happy (and to better compete with OnlyFans).

Twitter's $50 seems very reasonable to me, even on the low side of reasonable, but OnlyFans has set the bar pretty low for these payment thresholds, and everyone else in the market now is compared to what they do.

Thanks for the news on Celeb TV. I checked their terms and sure enough pornographic materials aren't barred anymore, but there's still a restriction. The terms now say that "you are prohibited from uploading or posting pornographic materials or any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct containing anyone other than you."

It remains to be seen, whether they're happy about one of their most prized celebrities' seeming to not be directly "chatting" to someone who paid for that opportunity.
However, I did delete my account, without taking a screenshot.

When I've contacted others, on OnlyFans for instance, I can recall only one out of several, who didn't reply directly, but with a generic reply.
My message was quite specific, about my arguing with someone in the BS chat box, who criticised her about some non-medical surgery, she hadn't had done.
She's been quite open about which cosmetic surgery she's had done, including in an interview on BS's blog.
