Ray Galton writer extraordinaire

Ray Galton, the second writer of Hancock's Half Hour and Steptoe and Son amongst the many things he co-wrote with his late partner Alan Simpson has died at the age of 88
I seem to recall they met in a TB(tuberculosis) clinic and became good friends.

Their body of work is a list of comedy classics

With all the funny shows they co-wrote, it would've seemed more appropriate if they'd met in a 'clap' clinic?
