It's also worth adding that the Crowd was fantastic. Followers of the Men's game could learn a lot, but they won't because they're mostly Cretins.

England named the same starting XI in all 6 matches at EURO 2022, making them the first team in Euros history (men’s and women’s) to name the same starting lineup in every game of the tournament through to the final.

The men's game is too tribalistic from a crowd perspective and therefore generates an unhealthy hostility and nastiness to proceedings that spoils things. Social media doesn't help matters in respect of this much either btw.

The Lionesses are a team that just show what a little togetherness team spirit and a mental spirit can do. Let's hope that the FA find something of a apology for banning women's football for so long.

^^ Neither does our increasingly tribalistic and polarised political scene. The two spiral together. The worst of identity politics also does more to divide than bring us closer I feel.

Sport, music, media, culture in general should offer more unifying hopeful visions that celebrate difference. Not split us up into immutable groups that are all supposed to have the same ideas and accept no deviance of thought.
