The reason why the show was cancelled was because of tax breaks of where of where it was being filmed in North Carolina miss calculated how much money was being put towards the series with the huge bill of the production DC cut the Eps from 13 to 10 and that’s why production shut down for a while. With Titans put of what helps with the funding is Netflix distributing the show else where across the world the same with Star Trek Discovery. The CW shows work totally differently so even if the viewing figures are low they can get away with and still be renewed.

“North Carolina promised a $40m tax rebate that, due to a paperwork error, they were unable to deliver. That was roughly half the proposed budget for s1 (which is estimated at $80m). When NC discovered the error, the corrected. WB shut down production, realizing they’d be taking a bath on the rebate and paying for far more of it than assumed. The adjusted number from NC is something like $14m. That’s a massive difference.”

Gets a comic con poster

Just watched the pilot of this series and it’s really good, it’s big shame it only lasted a season as I think it could have been big hit. Not only a great cast but the story was well paced and intriguing. It’s very mature and lots horror in the Ep so I wouldn’t recommend eating while watching. I couldn’t help but think it reminded me a lot of the horror film The Thing. It even starts up with the DC movie that they use at the start of every DC film giving it that movie feel you can tell that the show was big budget and expensive, look forward to watching the rest of the series.

Ep 2 “Worlds Apart”

On the second Ep and wow it was fantastic, you get more of a back story of most of the characters but it towards the end of the Ep where it gets really nasty and gory. Really wished DC/Warner Bros has continued with the show great story and very well acted too.
