Addiction To Calling & Financially Crippling Phone Bills

10 days sober

This is the lowest my phone bill has been for a while

Well m'dudes, today is day No7 of not purchasing or drinking a popular brand of energy drink that was costing me between approx £120 - £150 per month and I'd been drinking it for around 3 years.
I was totally addicted and would drink a 500ml can every single morning instead of a cup of coffee.

My recycling bin just got emptied by the local council bin dudes and the goal now is to keep it free of energy drink cans until next recycling day.

It's been borderline insane how many cans were in that bin month after month.

God, I fucking miss the red berry flavour ones, but I'm sure my bank balance and liver will one day thank me for finally resisting.

Just 3 Sundays ago, not power walking in desperation to my local corner shop for an early morning Monster energy drink was inconceivable

Including today, I am 15 days sober.

As for the channels, this is my 20th day in a row of not dialing those phone numbers and the goal is to one day not know them off by heart.

My latest mobile phone bill is £48.50.

Astonished that I've only run up £20 in extra charges (thanks to a couple of failed attempts to be first in Pippa doll's call queue) this month.

Also, I just had my recycling bin emptied and there wasn't a single solitary can of Monster Energy in there.
The last year or so, it'd been packed out with tons of cans, so hoorah.

Don't get me wrong, it's been a damn tough and looooong month, but it's nice to actually know I'll be able to treat myself this upcoming wages day.
