Pointless waste of time and being driven by the Democratic Party who state they want unity but carry on the party politicking, Biden starting to flex USA muscle abroad so lets make sure the families of US servicemen get ready for their military loved ones to be sent abroad to risk their lives again.....Obama did a good job doing the exact same thing.

He'll get off, clearly. There won't be more than 3 or 4 Republicans with the balls to vote for impeachment.
If it was a secret ballot though, like the attempt to oust Liz Cheney, he'd be toast.

However, the more his defence tries to distance him from the insurrection, the more Qanon and the far right militias will realise they've been fucked over. Especially the ones currently under arrest.

.... The only ones that have been calling for "Unity" have been Republicans, and only whenever someone brings up the riot. It's like they want to be absolved of any responsibility and still push the blame on Democrats.

Or how they didn't want to push for impeachment when Trump was in office, yet will say he shouldn't or can't be tried for impeachment out of office for crimes while he was in office.

At this point, you'd have to wonder where the balls of all the Republican's went since it seems Trump has clearly nurtured them all. And he isn't even in office anymore.

Shitshow part 2, The Jibbering, isn't worth watching, it is worth switching off though. lol. I do get the feeling that his lawyers are there so that they can claim victory and raise their rates after the GOP vote how we all expect, not actually prove his innocence. Defending Trump is about money, not doing the right thing.

One commentator said that after their performance he’d be surprised if Trump didn’t get the death penalty

Sadly it will make no difference as whilst a majority of Senators will vote to convict him there won’t be the 2/3rds majority that is needed.

They're third rate lawyers because nobody else would take the job on.

Even Ted Cruz thinks they're doing a shit job. Trump's lucky it's a done deal.
