I think Biden would win if it was tomorrow....however a week is a long time in politics.
By the time Nov comes around, I think Trump would have used some of his aces up his sleeve....even though he probs don't know what they are.

With approval ratings in the low-40s, I don't think Trump has a chance. So if the election were held tomorrow, I'd put my money on Biden.

BUT, Trump's approvals have been remarkably consistent, oscillating between 40% and 45% for the last three years. Anywhere north of 45%, there is a chance he loses the popular vote but wins the presidency, as he did in 2016.

I would expect his numbers to rise as the campaigning ramps up and he starts doing a couple of rallies per week. If there is no second spike of COVID19, the economy opens up and starts to improve, then I think he can claw his way back to a place where the election is a coin toss.

Sad but true.

Trump the chump not content with asking (allegedly) Putin to help him in 2016 has now reputedly asked Xi of China for his support in November.. more likely wants the Chinese to vote and win him the election by a landslide if he's been reading the polls lately....

Bolton and his niece should do old Trumpy a lot of damage, nothing like a family squabble to get the skeletons rattling. Noticed that most of his administration seem to be going around with a vacant look, and as for Pence, he seems resigned to be the tea boy. Great quote from Mcenany about Trumpy's rally not being any more dangerous than going to a baseball game, despite the fact all baseball is closed down. The wheels are loose on the Trumpy waggon.

i wonder if people are still reading the Stormy Daniels book - if there was one....but in any case plenty more juicy details to read when they're finished and suddenly might realise who & what they actually voted in...what's the betting the turnout will be lower than our general election in some states??
