Dont think the president can invite themselves to a funeral if no body wanted them there mind you no doubt there hasnt been a precident where a president has been so unliked by both sides of the houses

Well no, what I mean is, it's surely unprecedented that the question has even arisen for a funeral like this.

Yeah because the president should be seen as the leader of the USA and put all that thing above the office

Watching both Bush Jnr and Obama give eulogies today makes you miss them even more. to think 10 years ago Bush Jnr was seen as the worst president the US had ever had now they would take him back at a heartbeat

It's like the Trump bubble has burst, most in his own party now realise he was a mistake. When the Russian stuff is finally out in the open, most will turn on him. I just hope the rest of the Trump clan also get their collar's felt. I like McCain's daughter, she knows a cunt when she see's one, great eulogy.

At this point in George W Bush's presidency we were coming up the the first anniversary of September 11th 2001 and the Afghanistan war was in full swing.

His approval rating after his first year was higher than JFK's was and probably hadn't dropped much.
